I will go back to bar mitzvah posts this week but wanted to quickly post about our weekend. We drove up to Aunt Darrah’s house yesterday for Passover. We didn’t get up until late-ish on Saturday night, especially because we stopped to pick up Maddie and Hope en route to Hastings, but we still had a lovely Passover dinner. Here is a pic:
Maddie and Hope went back to NYC last last night and we stayed overnight in White Plains. This morning, we met Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron and Aunt Darrah at a diner for breakfast, and then headed to Yankee Stadium for a game. It was N’s 8th stadium, crossed off the list.
Highlights: the 99 Burger and the massive Black and White Cookie Shake, watching the game with Jake and Lorne, the stadium itself, seeing Aaron Judge, a few Giants HRs, and more. Not a highlight: traffic in the Bronx.
We are glad to be home but it was a nice, quick getaway.
