So for two of our kids, it was basically a normal day. M dressed up as "Crocodiles" with 2 friends – they wore crocs and green shirts (?). There was a teacher "flash mob" in the forum, which I watched on Facebook tonight, which was very funny. But no trick or treating for either girl tonight – they gave out candy to the ONE trick or treater who came to the house. They are going to a Halloween party on Saturday night so that should be fun.
N, on the other hand, had a great Halloween! We went as Ryan Zimmerman. He did the Lafayette parade, then back to his classroom for a class party. I volunteered and did the Bingo game, which was a lot of fun. He was so happy I was there! Then tonight we went trick or treating with Sam and his family. It was really fun and mellow. We didn't spend that much time on Rittenhouse but went on side streets and got lots of candy without all the crowds. Then we stopped at our old house and went to the Daultons and McGurks and then to the Murphys'. N had so much fun and got really into it. He also walked a ton, in cleats.
Here are pics from Halloween:
It was really fun watching him sort his candy and decide which piles they went in.
