Tomorrow is Halloween!
Tonight N and I went to a Halloween party at the Village community center. This was our first event with the neighborhood and N and I were our usual selves: antisocial. We didn't meet or talk to anyone other than Katie H.. who we found about halfway through. There was a costume contest (N didn't win) and cookie decorating and a haunted house. It was pretty cute but very crowded. He was ready to come home and very excited about his goody bag (he ended up with 2).
N is going to be a Nationals player tomorrow – specifically #11, the first basement, RY-AN ZIMM-ER-MAN. I have misplaced his Nats hat, despite having left it out of our packing boxes so that it would not be lost, but I found some backups tonight so we should be OK. I'll take a pic of him in full Nats uniform tomorrow. Daddy carved a pumpkin with him tonight (the girls have outgrown it!) and I'll take a pic of that too. Meanwhile here are our 5 pumpkins (3 from Butlers, one from the Campers and one from the neighbors).
And here is N pre-carving.
And here are some beautiful flowers that our old neighbors sent us:
