Last Day of GDS Soccer

So. Poor N has been sick now for 3 days. He hasn't left the house except to go to the doctor or pick up the girls since Monday. And yet he has been in great spirits. Tonight he helped me unpack books in the library and he had the best time. He said, "Mommy, I love to help you. I love to help Nana. I love to work!" Nana has been a great sport – she has been here long days all week and has taken great care of N. We are very lucky. He was able to have a piano lesson today and Grandma will be very happy to know that tonight, he said "I know who Norman Rockwell is. He likes to create paintings that tell stories." Who do you think taught him that?

Today was M's last GDS soccer game of the season. It was a good one! 5-0. When we got there, she was playing defense, and she played goalie the second half. She doesn't like to play field positions but she did just fine. (M is on the left. Doesn't she look weird not wearing a goalie uniform?)

Daddy brought Krispy Kreme donuts for the team to celebrate the last game.

Hopefully N is on the mend. Today and tomorrow were days off from school already so he had a one-school-day week.
