Today is always one of my saddest days of the year (this and June 21 – boo) – the night before N leaves for camp. We spent the day today getting everything packed, buying stuff at Target, picking out books, etc. N also finished his bar mitzvah thank you notes – yay!! That is a major feat.
N has been lucky to have spent time with all of his grandparents in the last week or so. When we were in NY for Eden’s bat mitzvah, he spent time with Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron, who had arranged for the Shohola photographer Tom to come and take pics of all of us (in matching shirts, of course):

Yesterday N had brunch with Grandma Sandy at Bread and Chocolate before he went off to camp (I don’t have a pic).
And on Sunday we celebrated Father’s Day, and Grampy was one of the honorees, of course. N is lucky to have his 4 grandparents close by and a big part of his life.
M made a cake for N’s birthday and all three blew out the candles:

Finally, he said goodbye to his honorary parent today:

Tomorrow, VERY early, we will take N to the airport so he can fly to camp. We are excited for all of the fun he is going to have. We will miss him very much.
