We have had a nice break this year. All three kids are here – YAY – and we were able to take a quick trip to Florida – Captiva Island – for 4 nights. We stayed right on the beach and it was very peaceful and relaxing. We had great weather. Dad and N played a lot of tennis (and the girls joined in sometimes) and I did a lot of reading. We had sunsets at 5:45PM and sunny mornings and some nice dinners in Captiva. And we remembered being there 10 years ago (2015? 2016? for hermit crab races and New Year’s Eve). M&N did sunset sqims in the cold water.
Here the girls have been seeing friends and grandparents and hanging out at home. Hobart is very happy to have everyone home.
We also had a nice time in New York celebrating Grandpa Ron’s retirement and Grandma and Grandpa’s anniversary. They saw all the cousins (minus Ben) and spent a little time exploring NY (and seeing Marty Supreme). I was only there for a night but they had a more extended trip.
M&A leave for good next weekend and N goes back to school in a few days.
