Two fun things happened tonight.
N had his 7th/8th grade band concert. They played a bunch of holiday songs (Sasha explained why; still not sure I understand it), including a Nutcracker medley, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland and more. (Also – Espresso and Last Christmas). It was a nice and relatively short concert. Here are pics of the concert and N’s fan club:
N did a good job on some hard pieces, particularly the Nutcracker medley and Sleigh Ride. Apparently the 7th graders were doing a bad job on Sleigh Ride in rehearsals so N suggested to Sasha that the7th graders be left out of the performance for that song, and Sasha agreed. (Poor 7th graders!)
On the other side of the country, A and M are together in LA. M is going up the coast and spending tonight in LA with A. So cute Griffin picked up M from the airport (making that the second time he has picked up one of the girls this week).
