Addams Family at Louise and Sidwell Transition

Here's the update from a rainy DC.

A had her second day at Sidwell orientation this morning. So far so good. Yesterday was social, today was academic and tomorrow is a volunteer day at A Wider Circle. She seems to like it a lot. The food is great. She has walked home twice. This morning we tried to do a dry run on the bus, but we waited forever for the bus and ended up driving. Then of course the bus came so we followed the bus and still managed to track her commute. She will have to take the bus the rest of the week so it's a good exercise.

N is not loving Headfirst but he's not actively rebelling either. He says the pool is cold but most of the kids can't really swim. He's in the Turtles group. I haven't gotten a lot of information from him.

I have to go to Vegas tomorrow. Was supposed to be Thursday but it got moved today. This means I am gone a few days because Amy is meeting me there Thursday night. I am excited to spend time with her but I am sad about missing a few days at home, especially with A, who just got home. Very sad. I'll be in good tough though.

And finally M – she did tech for the Camp Louise musical, The Addams Family. I saw a bunch of pics online. She doesn't seem that thrilled.

I can tell by her smile that she's not that happy in these pics. But the rest of the Louise pics have been good. I can't wait til she's home on Sunday!
