N’s K Artwork

Here is N's kindergarten artwork, which he brought home in his portfolio at the end of the year. I've copied the description sent home by the art teacher. 

 Students used real textures to create specific objects/scenes. N: "It's a person. He has very long arms and very short legs."

Students drew pencil pictures of animals using lines to create texture in their drawings:

Students created volcano collages using torn paper and warm colored crepe paper:

Students created paintings with abstract black lines and added just a little bit of color in one section to create emphasis:

Students drew pictures showing unity by creating a scene of a family tradition. N: "It's Hanukah. The green/yellow is a menorah."

After studying a painting called "I'm Dancing As Fast As I Can", students used water color paints to create pictures of people dancing really fast.

Students cut free form shapes to create buildings where community workers can be found. (We aren't sure what this is.)
