I am back from a few nights away in Pittsburgh for Winter Institute, the annual conference for booksellers. It is good to be home. While I was away, I missed watching the premiere of Survivor 50 in person with N, but I watched it on FaceTime with him. It was a great show – definitely lived up to expectations. We are in a Survivor Fantasy group with Matt Bauman and Adam Kaplan, which has been fun so far. We did the draft totally over text.
I met an author yesterday who M really likes, and got him to sign an advanced copy of his next book for her.
This is N eating homemade pizza that he and Dad made on Sunday night.
N’s spring baseball season at GDS has begun, and his BCC Select team practices are about to get underway as well. He is also preparing for his Self-Directed Evaluation in a few weeks, where he does a presentation for us about how he is doing in school. Very GDS.
