Slow internet means short posts here on EDIWTB. I can't stand waiting for photo uploads!

Santorini has been really amazing. It's so beautiful and peaceful here. We arrived yesterday late afternoon and headed out to see the sunset. Then a Greek dinner at a cute restaurant and back to the apartment. We were exhausted.

Today we went for a walk around the shops and restaurants in the main commercial area which is very close to our place. After a leisurely lunch with a great view of the water, we walked down the 250 steps to the water. We did a slightly harrowing (for N) hike to some rocks where Daddy, M and A jumped into the water. Daddy and M did a cliff jump into the water which I captured on camera. N and I watched from the sides because he couldn't swim where we were. So we did the 250 steps back up – it was SO hot – and went to a pool which we can use because we are staying at this apartment. It was lovely and refreshing and we watched the sun set from there. It's so cute – everyone here claps when the last sliver of sun slides down below the horizon. 

After swimming we went to a local restaurant that had been recommended to us. We didn't arrive til after 930 and didn't leave til 11. Then gelato then back to the room for showers. N is asleep on a sofa cushion on the floor, which he likes. The girls too are sleeping in the living room on single beds. The apartment is the perfect size for us and it's in a great location with lovely views.
