Sometimes the girls sleep too late in the afternoon and I have to go wake them up from their nap. To date, A has found it really funny when I wake her up by doing something unexpected, like crawling into her room on all fours like a dog and barking, or making other animal sounds or funny noises by the bed. This afternoon, I went in and sat on her bed and starting saying "beep!" to her to try to wake her up. This type of behavior usually gets a broad smile and then a giggle.
Not today. Today, I "beeped" a few times at her, until she finally opened one eye and looked at me wearily and said, "Can you NOT do that?"
When did she turn 13?
Later, I took the girls grocery shopping. As I was getting out of the car, I banged my elbow on the door and said "Ow!". M asked me what was wrong and I told her I had hurt my elbow. She asked if she could kiss it to make it better. (Aw.) I said yes, but was on the other side of the car getting A out. M said, "Mommy, you have to kiss it by yourself. You’re too far away."
OKNOW TGAT’S CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
