I am headed to Detroit tonight for my first business trip in many, many months. Sad to be away from the girls and the routine. But it is a short trip – I will be back tomorrow night. And today I will make lunch and do homework with them for tomorrow, so it won't be much of an interruption.

The girls drew some amazing pictures for some books they created at school last week. I scanned in the pages and will post them here today and tomorrow. Here's A's book- check out the details! Piggy and Bunny (and Cousin Bunny and Snuffy)'s eyes – they really look like that…. the ballerinas… Allie… the swimming… A is one talented artist!!! I am so proud of her.
