We are at the Ritz at Amelia Island today, a bit north of where we were near Jacksonville. The hotel is amazing – on the beach, couple of pools, all facing the ocean. The only problem? The weather is cold and windy and grey. Too cold to be outside. Luckily, the hotel has a great indoor pool where the girls swam for a long time this afternoon. We have a lovely suite and the girls are sleeping on a sofabed together. I cant say enough about how child-friendly this hotel is. I am very impressed. The girls are having fun despite the weather. Hopefully tomorrow it will be nicer. Our flight home is at 6:30.

I just tried to post a photo of the hotel but the connection is too slow. Will do it when I get back to DC.

Buppie will be pleased to know that we just sang her four songs: "Bushel and a Peck," "Baubles Bangles and Beads", "Always" and "Day is Done."
