And On Wednesday, The Girls Left The House…

Another mellow vacation day. The girls had a playdate this afternoon at Molly and Eve's house (twins, with one each in M&A's classes). Imogene and I spent a few hours cleaning out the basement, which looks SO much better now. We cleared out stuff that the girls don't play with anymore. We gave away two double strollers to a mom in the neighborhood who is fostering 8-month old twins (and hoping to adopt them). A and I finished The Hundred Dresses, which is for our January 9 book club meeting. Daddy finished Charlotte's Web with the girls last night and they are going to try to watch the movie soon.

We also FINALLY have New Year's Eve plans. We're going to Massanutten with the Kohn-Murphy's. It's a few hours away, and has a great waterpark. We are renting a condo for Friday night. It should be fun. We've had tentative plans to do something for a while so it feels good to get them firmed up.

Here are some pictures of the Nutcracker bumblebees that another mom took:

Love the pictures. Those bumblebees are adorable. I hope you have a wonderful time in Massanutten. Again, happy New Year.
