Today was the first day of the girls being assistant coaches for our friend Jonathan's baseball team for 5 year-olds. They went to practice at 5:30 after their Fictionistas meeting at Charlotte's, and Daddy picked them up at 6:30. Jonathan said that they were "awesome" and paid them each $10.

Here are N's favorite bedtime books, as of today: Llama Llama Red Pajama, The Seals on the Bus, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, assorted numbers/colors/ABC books, The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Tonight he wanted to brush his teeth with both the Elmo and the ABC tootbrushes, and was excited to use his Thomas the Train toothpaste, despite a visceral negative reaction to the show last week.
