We are back from New Jersey. We had a wonderful time with Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Liz, Sarah and Rachel. They were so generous and welcoming, and the girls had a blast. I think we will be talking about the weekend for a long time.
Highlights:
- Delicious lamb dinner that J cooked for us.
- Sarah doing magic tricks for the girls.
- Rachel and Sarah reading books to the girls before bed last night.
- J walking down the hall with M and A sitting on his feet and clinging to his legs – absolutely hysterical. (See photos below.)
- Sarah and Rachel working by the glow of their new MacBooks in Rachel's room while the girls slept blissfully on the floor.
- A waking up crying in the middle of the night last night (strange room, no nightlight) and then sleeping in Sarah's bed with me for the rest of the night. We slept back to back and it was very cozy.
- Great run through Montclair this AM with J, L and Belle.
- Fun drive up and back with Buppie.
- Costco with Buppie on the way home today and lots of samples and treats.
- Pillaging Sarah and Rachel's old books again and finding even more treasures.
Here are some photos.

these photos are great – I almost felt like I was there – clearly a blast! I especially like the “pillaging” of the books….
The photos are absolutely marvelous. I enjoyed every one of them.
Everyone looks so happy. The four cousins are adorable together.
Love,
Aunt Ann
