I am back from a few days in NY for work. I stayed downtown near NYU and saw lots of students getting ready for graduation in their purple gowns. I also bought lots of NYU merch. It's such a great part of the city and I am excited for A!!
M spent two nights on the eastern shore with Maya, Annabel, Leo, Charlie and Dylan. She said it was the most relaxed she had ever been. The house they stayed in is very pretty and they had a lot of fun. M told us about it tonight – some games, some kayaking, some hammock time, some reading, some cooking.
A finally made it to the dog shelter and got a haircut and has friends over in the backyard right now. This is exactly what she should be doing with the leadup to graduation.
N's team suffered a tough loss tonight, and it's unclear if they will make it to the playoffs or not. They were pretty sad tonight. But N played well and feels good about it. I hope they will be able to move on in the playoffs; otherwise, this Saturday will be his last game. So sad!
M goes on a school trip to Selma, Alabama tomorrow with GDS. She's going on a civil rights greatest hits tour.
Life is starting to get busy!
