This week, I've been felled by a combination of jet lag, catching up at work, Nats losses and overall busy-ness which has me falling asleep on the couch at night before I can post.

So, the big news around here is that M&A went back to school on Monday and N went to visit his classroom today!

M&A: they seem to like their teachers a lot. The transition back to school has been smooth, and they seem pretty happy with everything. They both wish they had more friends on their team, but they have each other, and have a few classes together too. That's mostly a good thing, minus the occasional bickering. They are excited to be back at school and are looking forward to their classes this year: ELA, Math 9, Ancient History, Science and Spanish.

N went to Lafayette for an hour today to meet his new teacher and see his classroom. This was our first time in the newly renovated school and it is GORGEOUS. His classroom is huge and bright, and everything is new. He was quite apprehensive at first, but he got excited by all of the fun activities in the classroom and then didn't want to leave. So that's good. His new teacher is lovely and we feel very lucky to be at the new beautiful school.
