Tonight, N worked at a concert at CCES. It was a beginning band concert, so mostly 4th graders with a few 5th graders thrown in. N and 4 other advanced band members helped get performers ready to go on. He was very excited to be at school after hours, to be working, to be solo without parents, and not to be performing. He got a $5 Starbucks gift card as a thank you gift from Mr. Bowling, and he wants to SPEND IT NOW. We tried to go to Starbucks en route home but it was closed. Now he wants to go BEFORE school tomorrow. (Not going to happen.) N is the perfect example of money burning a hole in someone's pocket.

When he got home, he played a game of online chess with Andrew Mikhail. They would have played another one but Andrew had a paper to write. Cute.

Meanwhile M is back at school, back in her dorm and back in class. It is good to see pics of her with her cohort again.

And A has A LOT of work this semester.
