Lots of exciting things happening in our house tonight!!

Here is a list:

• The girls got their Nutcracker parts! They are SOLDIERS! I am so excited because that is my favorite scene in the whole ballet. And the head of the school said last year that the soldiers is the hardest part in the ballet because it has the most complicated, precise choreography. Very good news!!
• A got a 4 (the highest possible score) on her fiction book report.
• Both girls finished their non-fiction books tonight – A read A Very Young Dancer and M read Dolphins – which is their October book report book.
• Both girls are going to join the Math Club, starting next week! A didn't want to join a month ago, but she changed her mind.
• I discovered a way to make N giggle and laugh – kiss his tummy repeatedly.
• We are entering a sandwich contest. You have to come up with a sandwich using peanut butter. We have come up with one that looks and sounds yucky but is yummy – Peanut Butter Hummus Pita. I hope we win!
• Good piano lessons this afternoon.

Whew! It's a big week around here. Our weekend is insane. More on that later.
