The girls have a four-day weekend. No school on Monday for MLK day, and professional day on Friday. We have a number of plans here and there – ballet, a birthday party on Sunday, a sleepover Sunday night, a brunch on Monday, and a playdate plan with Lily on Monday.
Tomorrow night we are having a large gathering here at the house for a memorial for Holbrooke, and Friday is his memorial service. We are having the party catered (and paid for by someone else – yay) so it should be nice.
I have a bunch of new artwork to scan, and some book reports Daddy had the girls write about Charlotte's Web.
Tomorrow is spelling test day – A is doing an excellent job with her spelling. No more hesitating, much more confidence. M is doing an excellent job as usual, too.
How nice of you to have a catered memorial in honor of Holbrooke. It’s interesting to read that Dan is having the girls write a report on the Book “Charlotte’s Web.” What a great idea. And both girls always do well with their spelling tests. Love to them and all of you.
