This is a very hectic week for the girls, with today as a deadline for many applications. They will both breathe a sigh of relief when they wake up tomorrow.

I had a great, great birthday this week. Very low key but really nice and exactly what I wanted. A few nice meals with friends (Jeremy/Robin on Saturday and Laurie/Sarah last night, plus lunch with Matt yesterday), a great dinner with the fam (dim sum!), some really thoughtful and awesome presents, and a low key #52. Thank you to my wonderful family for all the well-wishes!

N has been hard at work at the contests on his door – various puzzles, some "come up with good titles" challenges, etc. He has a complicated prize mechanism in place for tomorrow night, when we will do another family announcement of winners. 

We have postponed Hanukah to start after the apps are in this week. Looking like tomorrow. I still have a lot of wrapping to do!
