Black Friday

We've had a very busy two days!

Yesterday was Thanksgiving. We spent most of the day cooking (made: cauliflower with lemon and mustard; brussel sprouts with grapes; sweet potatoes; butternut squash soup; and spicy/sweet nuts). This was in addition to the three desserts we made on Tuesday. It was all delicious! Grandma Sandy brought stuffing and turkey – thank you! All turned out well. Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron came down from NY and Grandma's friend Stu and his son Brian came too. We had a nice visit from Amy and Shelby during dinner, which made the night even more festive. All in all, a very yummy dinner.

I did do the 10K yesterday AM and am glad I did. 11:12 pace, same as usual.

Today, the girls had their full run-through on stage, and it was the first time I got to see them dance. THEY WERE WONDERFUL. They did their steps perfectly and they were just lovely. I cried as soon as I saw them. I am so excited for all of their performances. The first one is tomorrow at 1 PM and I can't wait! I am so very proud of them and how seriously they have taken the whole thing.

Tomorrow they will also wear their costumes for the first time. They are supposed to be very cute.

Oh, I went shopping at 7:45 this AM for Black Friday. Crazy. But quite productive.

TIRED.

I’m happy to know that all of you had a great Thanksgiving. I’m so proud of M and A. Give them a BIG hug from me and tell them I love them. Mommy, you are wonderful to do the 10K. I’m proud of you and all that you have accomplished.
Lots of love,
Aunt Ann
