Tonight we had Back to School Night at Deal. We met M&A's teachers – McVey (ELA), Wickersham (Social Studies), Quinn (Algebra), Rhoads (Science), Deak (PE – A), Shipman (Music – M), and Cuffey (Spanish – M). A's terrible Spanish teacher, Ore, was not there tonight (!). Some of the teachers really stood out to us – creative, enthusiastic, passionate. I am excited for what the girls are learning this year – especially their Science and Social Studies classes. In Science, they are covering human biology, cell biology, genetics, ecology… tons of topics. This BTS night really brought me back to my 7th grade year. 

I worked from home today, which meant I could get N from school, and N and I went to meet the girls' bus, which we love doing. I am going to Vegas tomorrow for work for 2 nights. It's going to be a very busy 2 days and I am sad to be leaving! Daddy is also traveling tomorrow – to NY, where he is going for UNGA. Nana is staying tomorrow night.

OK, I have an early wake up. Off to sleep.
