The girls have been making a tremendous amount of artwork lately. They love to draw and paint, and they can sit for hours at the white table making picture after picture. This poses an archivistic challenge – how much of it do I save? For now, I have been keeping everything that's remotely substantive – i.e. more than just a few stickers on a page or a stencil drawing. Once a month or so, I go through the pile of artwork with the girls, note who made it and when it was done, and ask them what it is a drawing of. It is amazing how much they remember – A especially can look at a drawing she did several weeks before and tell me what it is.
I will start uploading pictures of some of the artwork here.
To start, here is a picture that A drew for Buppie, called "Buppie at the Piano". How cute is that?
A is quite an artist. I’m sure M is also. Thanks for the picture.
I’d love to see more of what our little artists have made.
Love,
Aunt Ann
Have you seen these frames? I think they’d be perfect to display M & A’s artwork. You could store a whole bunch in there and change the front piece out whenever you want.
