Last night, M spoke at Temple Sinai's Friday Shabbat service for MLK's birthday. She spoke about student activism for affordable housing, and she did a great job! I recorded it on video but don't have any still pictures. We were very proud of her! The grandparents tuned in too. Great job M! She and Phoebe/Maddie/Annabelle went out to dinner tonight to celebrate being done with first semester. They went to Sfoglina – fancy.
A went skiing today! This is really only the second time she skied. A big group of Sidwell seniors went to Whitetail today and she graduated from the bunny slope to the greens! Yesterday to celebrate her being done with exams and applications, we got salads in Bethesda and then went to an animal shelter in Arlington to check out some pups.
And N had a social day today too. He went to baseball (outdoors) with Lowell and tonight Ayan came over and they watched Swindle – which N watched last night too! That was the girls' favorite movie when they were little. It's so cute.
It is also very cold here and likely to snow tomorrow. Again.
