Today was a good day.
A was at rehearsal all day. It went well – she said things are coming along better and people are getting more prepared.
In the morning, N and M and I went to see where his Headfirst camp will be this summer – at NCS! It looks like it's going to a fantastic camp – so well-organized, thoughtful curriculum and great facilities. He'll be in the pool every day, too, which is great.
I showed M around NCS a bit. She's intrigued by it. (I am withholding comment.) I also took them in the Cathedral.
M had a softball game this afternoon too – 2 walks and she scored two runs, so that's good. Her team won. Yay!
We also had a really fun dinner at Blue and saw a ton of people strolling The Avenue. Gorgeous night.
2 brags:
From Jonathan Chait: "Not sure if you heard this soccer story, but I'll share. After the first game yesterday, the players did their walk-through greetings, and when Maddie went past, one of the opponents turned to another and said, "That girl is a SAVAGE goalkeeper!" I thought that was pretty cool to hear."
From Sarah S: "The girls' thank yous were absolutely lovely. We all read them and loved them. Pls let them know. So gracious."
Here is N at the camp orientation:
And here is an adorable card he wrote for Carter yesterday.
