Camp Ron-Dee-Vous Days 3 and 4

Here is M's report from Day 3 (yesterday) at Camp Ron-Dee-Vous:

Hi Mom and Dad,

I don't have much to talk about because I told you all about it during skype  (I think I spelled that wrong );-) .We went to Len and Jo's to have pizza tonight.  I forget what the pizza place is called. I miss you so much .:'(

P.S.  from Grandma and Grandpa:

The girls had cereal and fruit for breakfast, made their beds, and then M trounced Grandpa in Potonkin. Beautiful weather so went swimming in the lake. Grandma took A for a kayak ride while Grandma and M took a sunbath on the dock. Had lunch at home and then went to Have-a-Hoot. The girls and Grandpa played laser tag while Grandma supervised. Then went to a favorite pizza place in Port Jervis and to an old fashioned ice cream parlor nearby. A had mint chip and M had an almond joy and brownie crumble sundae (and Grandma and Grandpa shared a small turtle sundae!).  Skyped with mommy and daddy before bedtime which the girls really enjoyed.

And here is A's update from today (Day 4):

Dear Mom and Dad;-) :

We had so much fun at Ron-Dee-Vous. We had a great time at Have-a-Hoot. We did laser tag, air obstacle courses, played arcade games and got 1087 tickets.  A went on the rock climbing wall and got really cool prizes.  We had smores after dinner tonight. It was a really busy day. I miss you guys so much.

Sincerely,

A

P.S. from Grandma and Grandpa:

Another busy day.  Although we really wanted to take the girls to Claws 'n' Paws the weather didn't cooperate.  So the girls got their wish and we went to Have-a-Hoot.  They had such a great time and were very skilled at all of the activities.  M played about 5 or 6 games of Laser Tag while A did the rock wall 3 times and the air obstacle course twice.–really amazing.  She really scampered quickly through the entire course of 7 systems while above ground and in harness. They also played with the air ball shooter, trampoline, and enormous array of slides.  hey then played a few arcade games that won them some prizes. Tonight we had an outdoor barbecue and then, of course watermelon and s'mores. Before bed we showed the girls the official slide show of our Arctic trip. They have been great throughout.

We really enjoyed Skyping with the girls last night, and have talked to them a few times today. IT's so cute – they've asked to talk to N every time they call, and tonight he was fussing and they both sang the lullaby song to them on speakerphone. He calmed down! It was so cute. They miss him a lot and are excited to "chat" with him on the phone. And they are excited to come home tomorrow, though they will miss being at the lake as they've had a great time!

On the home front, I finished cleaning out the basement. What an improvement!

Girls will be home tomorrow!

OH – I forgot something funny M said the other day. She said to me, "If you were a boy, who would you rather marry: 1) Jacqueline Davies [the author of the book we just read for book club]; 2) Angelina Jolie; or 3) Grandma Sandy?" Of course I said "Grandma Sandy", and she said, "Well, that would be weird, because she is your mom!"
