Captiva!

We had a loooong day yesterday but made it to Captiva right before sunset. No need to detail all of the travel headaches. It was a long but safe trip.

Today we woke up lateish and had a late start – Daddy and M needed new flip flops, but then we had a relaxing day by the pool. N came back for a nap and the girls swam in the pool next to our room. Then we headed to the beach to see the sunset. N and I watched the sun slip below the horizon, which is always a cool reminder of how fast the earth spins.

Tonight we went to one of the restaurants here that is hard to get into – The Mucky Duck. We got souvenirs:

Some funny from N:

Me: N, who is older, M or A?

N: They're both older.

Me: [Laughs]

N: They are both the same age. That's what twins means.

Me: Right. And they also were in my tummy at the same time.

N: And I was there with them.

He also asked if we could go on another trip, this time to South Dakota. He also just threatened to poop on Daddy's head.

Captiva is beautiful and we're very lucky to be here. Weather is in the low 80s, sunny.
