I was in Boston for a few days and missed several days of posting on the blog. Here's what's been going on here.
The girls went to a GDS Halloween party last night. Apparently it was the first real party of high school. M went with some friends as pirates/refs – black and white, but I am not sure what they were. A went as Pam-dressed-as-a-cat from The Office with her friend Hayden, who went as Jim. It was way out in Potomac and they didn't get home til 12:30! Maybe the girls will share some pics with me?
Today was the end of Daylight Savings and the girls slept til 1:30 old time, 12:30 new time!
N has been busy too. He had a field trip to Mt. Vernon on Friday, which he didn't seem to love, and then on Friday night, the kids all watched The Princess Diaries in our bed. A pic Daddy took:
Saturday N had a soccer game and caught the tail end of a birthday party at Comet. Today he helped me unpack a lot and went to Sunday School and M's soccer game. M had a great game! She had a bunch of fantastic saves. They lost 1-0, but that was due to the first half goalie. I think today was M's best game.
N's project today: working on the fourth day of creation – sun, moon, and stars.
The house is coming along. A lot of unpacking to do still. 31st Street had an open house today. Fingers crossed someone will want it.
This is parent-teacher conference week. We have conferences for all three kids – N on Tuesday, M on Thursday and A on Friday.
