It has been a few days since I last posted.
A few things that have happened:
A. A was asked to step in for a Seber student who had to drop out of a modern dance piece in the upcoming Spring Performance. This will mean more rehearsals and an added class for the next 3 weeks. But A is excited to do it, if a little nervous about the time commitment, on top of Hairspray. She has a busy month! Today she went to Sophia Lager's bat mitzvah ceremony and to Tess Cassel-Pawson's birthday party. She also went to the tailor to try her dress on and it fit perfectly!
M. M is in Williamsburg for Model UN. She just Facetimed me and showed me her hotel room. It sounds like she is having a good time (and eating many meals). I didn't get much of a sense of how the sessions are going. Here is a photo of her group:
We miss M very much and can't wait til she gets home tomorrow!
N. N has had a busy few days! The weather has been beautiful and he went to the playground after school a few days and had a playdate with Luke. Today, he rode his bike for the first time! We went to RCP with Lucky and N learned to pedal. This afternoon we did a lot of food shopping and tonight, since it was just N and me home, we cuddled on the couch and watched Toy Story 2. He has been asking some tough questions today, like where people go when they die and whether if your mom dies, you can get a new mom. (!)
Here is N on his bike:
And here we are watching the movie:
N has told me that M and I are no longer allowed to come in his room when he's sleeping and kiss and squeeze him. Of course, he has no idea when we do it, so even though he made me promise I'd comply, I don't think I will.
Daddy: Daddy went to Tufts today to speak at an EPIIC conference. He said his speech went well, and then they surprised him with a very special award! Holbrooke won the same award. Poor Daddy was stuck at Logan for 3 hours due to various delays, but he should be home soon.
Me: I'm beat. One fun thing: I went to the Caps game last night! Really fun.
