I was locked out of my P&B account for a day or two, which was very troubling, but has been resolved. I am back!
It has been a busy weekend, with quite a few things to share.
M had her Nutcracker audition today. She is most likely going to be a clown again, but she also auditioned for little butterfly, which is on pointe most of the time. Her feet were sore tonight! We will know which part she got on Wednesday. We're pretty sure it will be clown again.
The girls had a very social weekend. On Saturday night, they were invited to two birthday parties. One at Hannah B(o) and one at Hannah B(e)'s. They decided to split up. A went to Hannah B(e)'s Halloween party, where she met some new friends from Deal. She wore her Little Red Riding Hood costume and looked adorable! She also had a great time. M went to Hannah B(o)'s party at her house, where they watched Pitch Perfect 2 and had dinner. She was with all of the girls' friends and also had a great time. Annelise came over after the party and slept over. They had a doubleheader of Survivor and TAR from last week. Both girls sent us very sweet texts from the parties, which was so cute.
A also went to the Deal Dakar BBQ on Saturday. Daddy and N went with her and it sounded pretty fun. N ran around so much that he was very, very tired after and went right to sleep.
I had the MCPOM consignment sale. Sold a lot of stuff – the basement looks much better – and got N some great stuff and clothes too. He is definitely well-outfitted for the fall and winter. I bought him some boots that light up when he walks, which he really likes.
Also, N got to go to the toy store and pick something out because he got 10 potty stickers! We went to Child's Play today and he fell in love with a rocket toy that was a little on the pricey side, but he was completely wedded to it. So it's in our house now.
The girls had their first day of Sunday School. They are in a class with all of their friends – Alida, Abby, Hannah, Liza – so they are happy. They got to leave early today too due to the audition.
And tonight we went to dinner at Comet with the Krevats. A was excited to try pizza without cheese on it – and she liked it! The food was great, but the place is very loud and we were all very hungry until the food came.
N doesn't have school tomorrow for the fourth Jewish holiday in as many weeks. Sigh. But today he came with me to pick up the girls at Sunday School and he showed them his cubby. Look who he shares a cubby with!
And A found a ladybug on the way home. We named her Dotty.
