It has been a few days since I've posted. Lots going on here!

M is out of the house for a week! She has gone to Jamaica, VT with her friend Phoebe's family to spend a week doing Chinese intensive in another house. 🙂 We miss her a lot – she left around noon today – but hope that she has a fantastic week. It's great that she gets a change of scenery, and VT has almost no covid. Everyone she's with has tested negative so hopefully it's as safe as can be and she can get a nice break up there. Fingers crossed for strong wifi.

A finished her UCLA program yesterday. It was a great two weeks and she learned a ton and made a bunch of new friends. We saw the showcase of videos yesterday and they were great, especially A's. She performed the monologue she wrote. They also gave out awards and here's the one A got:

A will start doing community service next week via Zoom, and she MAY go to the Hamptons with Charlotte. We are still working that out.

N finished his week of Mad Science detective camp (5 stars out of 10). I was impressed with the box of gear that showed up the night before camp started and the sheer breadth of activities they did. Not everything worked, but it kept N busy for 15 hours last week! Next week he's back to Sidwell virtual camp – game design – plus the two days of one-hour baseball chat on Outschool.

I got a bad rash from something that touched my legs in PA a few weeks ago and saw an allergist on Monday who gave me prednisone, so I've been even more wired this week than usual. It will be good for me to taper next week because I am a bit too much in motion, even for me.
