Lots of good things happened today.

N went to the book fair today. He wanted to get the new Wimpy Kid but they had already sold out. Instead he got a different WK book that he didn't already have, and a fun MLB mascot poster and a little bear that smells good (?). And then I went to the library to pick up another Lemony Snicket book for him, and they didn't have it, so I went to Child's Play and bought it for him PLUS the new Wimpy Kid! So he's very excited. Plus he doesn't have school tomorrow. All good!

A had her Chamber Chorus concert at the Cathedral tonight with a lot of other private schools. It was so good! And cute that she had a big cheering section: Grandma Sandy, Grampy, Debbie W., Maddie, Nate and me. And it was streamed so Dad could watch from Glasgow. Some pics:

M has had an insane amount of work and tests but tomorrow isn't as bad as usual so she was quite excited to come to the concert. N was too! We are very sad that M's great efforts on the phone banking front didn't change the VA gubernatorial election results. 🙁

Finally, there is so much covid in my office that they shut it and sent everyone home today. Crazy. Thankfully I had another negative test today.
