Today was the girls' class holiday parties. Daddy went to volunteer in both classes and said that they were fine but a bit chaotic. M's was better organized – she came home with a gingerbread house, while A came home with a styrofoam cup on which she had written, "Merry Christmas". Lame. A got chocolate from her Secret Santa (she had asked for chocolate) and M got a little cosmetic bag that she wasn't very excited about.

Tomorrow the girls will present their holiday book reports and serve their holiday dishes. A is bringing in latkes and Hanukah gelt, and M is bringing sparkling cider and black-eyed peas.

We have been able to coax little N back into the bath with foam letters and numbers- thank you Christina for the idea! He still won't sit in the tub, but he is much more excited to go in, and he likes to stay in the tub, moving the letters all over the place and saying "di di di di di" which is what he says when he wants something or is pointing something out.

Tomorrow is the last day of school before break! Yay – no homework or lunches for 2 weeks!
