There was a first in our house tonight. I was on the train home from NY, where I spent the day today. Imogene's car is in the shop, and Daddy came home on the later side. And, it was raining. So while Imogene usually drives her car home after work, tonight she had no car, and it was late and rainy and thus a tough night to take the bus. So, Daddy took her home, while M&A stayed in the house and babysat for N. He stayed on the phone with them the whole time, and he paid them each $3 to stay home alone with the little boy. All went smoothly! A was uneasy at first but got more into it as time went by. He was gone about 10 minutes.

I also forgot to mention that we started a new puzzle a few days ago. It is harder than we expected. I worked on it for about 30 minutes tonight while everyone was alseep – I find it relaxing. Here is a photo. Tonight, I did the two big yellow fish.

Hopefully now that a big chunk of it is done, the girls will find the rest a bit easier.

Tomorrow is FIELD DAY. Sadly, it looks like it is going to pour. Good for the new lawn; bad for Field Day.
