Cuteness!

Such cuteness today. I was Shabbat Parent in N's class. I got to the school right when N's class came out of the bathroom from washing their hands. When he saw me, he was SO excited. He had a huge smile on his face, and he kept jumping around, smiling and hugging me. He was very glad to see me. We walked to his room, and N got to sit at the head of the table. He and I lit the candles together, and then we had snacks. (I brought yogurt tubes, which he didn't like, and graham crackers, which he did). Then we read three books – Hey Wake Up!, Oh My Oh My Dinosaurs, and Freight Train (a book from the classroom). N was very excited and cut in a lot to add commentary on the books.

Then we went up to the Sing. N sat with me for part of it, and he sat on Kathryn for part of it, and he sat on Jean for the rest of it. Despite his expressed reluctance to go to school the last few weeks, he seems so happy with his teachers and seems to do just fine with the other kids.

THE CUTEST: When we were in his classroom, he turned to me and said, "Mama, I'm glad you're here."

He also told me and M tonight that he loves us. It was so cute.

And he peed on the potty again tonight! He gets a marshmallow when he pees on the potty.

The girls and I went to Grandma Sandy's this afternoon for piano lessons, and we stayed for a bit to get her situated back upstairs. Tonight we are watching The Amazing Race and relaxing. It has been a long week!

Oh, 2 things about M:

Her one 3 from her recent report card turned out to be a mistake, so she got all 4s, like A.

And this was on Facebook tonight!

She's also in the Northwest Current this week, which I will scan.
