After work tonight, I took the girls to Broad Branch Market for ice cream. We ran into Emily on the way to the market, and asked her to join us. Here they all are on the way home — how cute!!

The girls ALMOST showered themselves tonight! I filled the tub, but they were playing queen/castle and wanted me to close the curtains on the tub. Then M asked me to put the shower on, which she usually hates. I let them wash their own hair in the shower. I have no idea how it will look tomorrow! Daddy came home and sort of finished off the bath, but this was definitely a step toward independence.

We watched some of the Spelling Bee tonight, until the girls went to bed. They find it pretty interesting.
