Daddy and the kids went camping this weekend. They left at noon yesterday and returned around 4 today. I didn't get too many details about what they did, and these are the only pics Daddy has sent me so far. Maybe he will write a guest post for tomorrow?

A few things to write about.

1) A said something really funny a while back but I keep forgetting to post it on the blog. She and Daddy were talking about houses that are so grand that they have their own name. She said, "What would our house be named? Downton Shabby?"

2) N and I went bike riding at Lafayette today. He did great – much more comfortable with braking. He was quite entertaining and enjoyed being up at the school with me.

3) N has been asking forever for a trash can in his room. In cleaning out the basement I came across one that used to be in the bathroom and now he has it in his room. Tonight he showed me the three things that are in the trash. I asked him if he was happy to have it in there, and he said, "Yes, but it can sometimes be hard to have a trash can too. Because you have to empty it.
 True.

4) Daddy took a spill on his bike today and he has hurt his arm. We hope it's nothing serious. 🙁

It was quiet here yesterday and today. I can say that the house is well-stocked with food, Lucky is clean and has short nails, and the basement is just a little closer to being done.
