Day 4: Hampton Court

Today was a fun but pretty tiring day. We met our friends Ben Miller and Nomi Ozaku, who now live in London, and went to see Hampton Court, a palace that Henry VIII built outside of London. We took 2 trains to get to the train down there, and two trains to get to the bus home. So we're pooped. While there, we did SOME touring of the castle, but not a whole lot because N had multiple meltdowns and we had to go back outside. We also did a maze that took us FOREVER to get out of. N was crying and Dan had him on his shoulders, so the constant turns, retreads, and dead ends were a bit frustrating for us. But the place is gorgeous, and the gardens are gorgeous, and I am glad we went out to see it.

We came back here and got takeaway pizza for dinner. Daddy is now passed out and I am going to try to teach the girls how to play Yahtzee.
