I took M & A out to dinner at our neighborhood diner tonight.  We sat semi-outside where we could see the road. We started playing a game – spot a red car, spot a blue car, etc.  That got old quickly, so M helped me make a list of what we should be spying instead:

1) a bicycle

2) a dog

3) a woman carrying a purse

4) an "open car" (convertible)

This lasted for quite a while.

Also, A has become very interested in dinosaurs ever since seeing a dinosaur puppet show last weekend. I bought her 3 dinosaur books today, which she seemed to like a lot. She can now identify stegosaurus and pterodactyl and T-Rex.

Better dinosaurs than princesses!
