I am not going to post kitchen photos tonight because what was done today wasn't that exciting. They installed the foot trim at the bottom and put the dishwasher into place (but it isn't hooked up yet). Perhaps most helpful was the work they did on the upstairs bathroom. Why the upstairs bathroom? Well, I was up early this morning and was downstairs working on the computer when Daddy got in the shower upstairs. I started hearing a funny tapping noise… which turned out to be… water, coming through the ceiling and dripping onto a plastic bag where the sink is going to be. Turns out our shower was leaking. So now we have a one foot square hole in the kitchen ceiling, where they excavated to find out the source of the leak. I guess our shower needed to be resealed and caulked. They did that today, and hopefully we are in the clear and don't need a new shower pan. I guess of all days for this to happen, today wasn't a bad one. Better today than in a few weeks when the kitchen has been repainted!

Tomorrow, I am playing hooky from work and taking the girls to an amusement park in Pennsylvania. We've been looking forward to it for a long time. It's called Dutch Wonderland and here's what it looks like:

Fun, huh? We're already packed up for tomorrow. Am going to try to get some rest tonight because it is going to be a loooong day!
