Here are a few things that M&A are not quite old enough for yet:
- chess, and arguably checkers
- applying labels to CDs
- their nascent collection of quarters from the 50 states (not much interest)
- books about astronauts and space missions
- tiny bits of dried spices, like parsley or oregano, in their food
Here are a few things they are old enough for:
- teenager expressions such as "like", "totally", "cool" and "ohmigoodness"
- formed-for-TV-music-bands made up of benign, multicultural, lip-syncing kids
- using the DVR remote
- pointing out parenting inconsistencies between Mommy and Daddy (requirements about washing hands, length of time to brush teeth, etc.)
And here are some cute photos from Wacky Wednesday (which M&A refused to dress up for – sounds like Daddy's genes), as well as their friends Max and Vivien's birthday party over the weekend:
M and A look adorable in the photos — as beautiful as ever. They look like they enjoy their classmates, even though they did not dress “up” for the “wacky Wednesday” picture.
Love,
Aunt Ann
