Erev Sarah’s Graduation

I am writing from NJ, where I am for the night for Sarah's graduation from high school tomorrow! Grandma Sandy and I drove up this afternoon and had dinner at the house with everyone, which was a lot of fun. Uncle Jonathan took me on a ride in his Cobra too – very cool. And I finally met Dot, who is a sweetheart. Tomorrow is the graduation, and then we will head home so that I can be home for N's birthday on Monday.

Speaking of N and birthdays, this morning we went to Lilah and Miles' birthday at Cabin John Park. We had a great time! And A came with us, which was great. How cute is this: the kids got pinwheels as party favors. N got 2 green/blue ones and one purple/red one. We walked back to the car at the end with his best friend, Carter, and N was very upset as we were leaving because he wanted Carter's orange/purple pinwheel to give to M because of orange. HOW SWEET IS THAT? I finally was convinced to take him over to Carter's car and ask if he would switch, which he was happy to do.

A made some friends too, especially N's classmate Joshua, who took to A right away and wanted her to hang out with him the whole time. We rode the train, which N loved.

This afternoon after I left, M and A went to the playground to meet Annelise and Ellen, and then they played Playdoh at home with N when he woke up and which he wanted to do ever since I told him that Miles and Lilah's birthday presents were Playdoh.
