Daddy and I got this email this afternoon, with the heading "EXCELLENCE IN SCIENCE":
Good afternoon,
I wanted to write to tell you how wonderfully Alex problem solved in class the last three days. The students were asked to make a Rube Goldberg device that moves any object across a table as slowly as possible with as many discrete steps as possible. She came up with several different designs that were creative. Her final design didn't work (her ball got caught in a puddle of water), but she most impressed me.
Sincerely,
Chris Baker
We are so proud of her! YAY, A!
M went to see the Washington Ballet tonight with Grandma at the Warner. So many memories of the Warner!
N isn't feeling great – some stomach issues today and a low-grade fever. We'll keep an eye on him tomorrow.
Daddy is going to FL tomorrow for 3 days.
Nats are up 11-2. We'll take it. 🙂
