Here are some fun updates on the kids.
M's East Coast Farewell Tour is in full swing. She was in Princeton last Thursday night, NYC on Friday night, and Hanover on Saturday and Sunday. It has been a true family affair, as she saw A, Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron, Emily, and Darrah and Sydney and Eden when she was in the city. Some of those were quite brief but she still got to see them. She managed to sleep in A's dorm (against the rules!) and spent time with A's roommates and some of her friends. Here are some pics from her visit:
More family stuff – Darrah, Jason and Eden went to the Eaglemania show in Tarrytown last night:
And M will see Sarah in Boston tomorrow.
Updates from A: She IS doing the movie! Very exciting. She will do a table read on Saturday and start shooting on Sunday. She has been on top of all of the details and we don't know too much about it, but she is excited and it will be great experience for her. We are so excited to see her this weekend, and I get to see her in NY this week too because I am going to be there for work. She will stay with me in my TINY hotel room on Tuesday night. I think it's smaller than her dorm room.
And the update from N: He had his first baseball game yesterday. He played really well! He pitched an inning and only gave up one run. His team was way down after the second inning and then had a huge comeback. They lost by 2 runs – 15-13 – but showed lots of promise at the end. He got on base 4 times and had 3 RBIs. The best news – his uniform is orange and he got #7.
He missed his first soccer game and first soccer practice due to conflicts with baseball, which will likely happen all season. He had a fun playdate with Charlie here today, and on Friday night we watched the Yankees lose to celebrate Matt Bai's birthday here. It was fun.
Tomorrow is Grandparents Day at CCES. Hopefully Grandma Sandy and Grampy will be there in person, and Grandma Dina and Grandpa Ron will join via Zoom.
That's the wrapup from here!
