Today was the first day of camp for all three kids.
The girls and I took N to camp first. It was cute – some of the counselors recognized the girls and were happy to see them. Very sweet. N transitioned well and didn't mind going to the new classroom. There was bubble wrap on the floor on the way in to the room, and he kept sitting at the table, doing clay, and then getting up so that he could go back and jump on the bubble wrap. Apparently he had a good day. He ate one bite of the sandwich I packed for him.
The girls had their first day of Summer Intensive. They were tired afterwards but seemed to like it. I know they miss Holton Camp, especially A, but she was excited about some of the jazz and character dancing they did today. It will be an intense month for sure.
Here are the girls before I dropped them off:
Poor Grampy had his THIRD surgery today. This one was unexpected and he's not happy about it. Grampy, we're all thinking of you.
