First Day of Holton Camp

The girls had a GREAT first day of camp! M's favorite classes were Keyboarding and Young Gourmet (where she made a fruit dip) and A's were Tae Kwon Do and Pom Poms. M also liked Tae Kwon Do and Pom Poms. They came off the bus saying that it's the best camp they've ever been to. Yay! I also learned that they made a few friends, that they ate lunch with each other and also with other friends, that they threw away the food that they didn't eat (boo), and that they didn't use their locker. They didn't have trouble finding classrooms, etc. because there were always people there to help.

I took them to the bus this morning, which went smoothly. I tried not to cry when the bus pulled away. I was also there to meet them when the bus rolled up, right on time, at 3:30. It was so fun seeing them as they came off! Tomorrow Grandma Sandy will take them to the bus, as she is headed right by the bus stop on her way to dance class. Very helpful!

This camp was a pain to sign up for, and to choose classes for, but it was totally worth it because they are having so much fun already.

I forgot to take a picture before camp, but here is one from after camp of the girls eating our latest obsession – Edy's Fruit Bars. They had to wear yellow today, with all of the rising third graders, so they are wearing an old Lafayette Spring Fair shirt. Tomorrow they can wear whatever they want.

Meanwhile, back on the home front, we are dealing with a case of day/night confusion. Trying to reverse it!!
