Today was the first day of middle school for M&A. It  went well. There wasn't much instruction today, but lots of rules and policies and procedures. A had Spanish homework – memorize the months and learn to say "Mi cumpleanos es el siete de Mayo" and "Puedo ir al bano?". I spoke more Spanish tonight than I have in the last 12 months.

The girls took the bus, and when they got on, it was so full of kids that they couldn't even get beyond the fare machine. Apparently it skipped a stop because it was so full. I love that the girls have phones because they texted when they got on (and A called me) and when they got off.
